Air France unveiled its summer program and the company has taken on in a recovery plan to save money. This summer there will be more seats on long-haul flights and fewer tickets available for medium-haul. This change will affect the seasonal departure from Nice base. This could be due to the currently rapid increase in the exodus of people from France.
Did Air France mention any recent upsurge in one way trafic towards Russia particularly concerning business or first class reservations departing from France ?

There is no way that AF with its top heavy management, massive overstaffing, outdated French communist labour practices, and arrogant management style can compete with the proven business model of the Low Cost Carriers.

Our last experience with Air France was one we don't wish to repeat.  I'm not saying they've driven us into the arms of the ghastly Michael O'Leary and his nasty money grabbing low service outfit, it wasn't that bad, but there are plenty of other airline companies that treat people better.  The worst thing about Air France is changing at Charles De Gaulle and the rudeness of the staff there.
